Geogsoc Lecture - 'Dinosaurs, demographics and dispersal: how palaeontologists analyse the evolution of dinosaurs in a geographical and temporal framework' How are population models applied to the fossil record, in particular terrestrial vertebrates (dinosaurs)? Modern human demographers use very different methods and models in comparison to those studying dinosaur population but by using these methods, could predict how our current world populations may change in the loooonnnggg term.
